Privacy Policy for Puzzaic

Puzzaic is a photo puzzle adventure app developed by Simple Daily Apps. This Privacy Policy explains how Puzzaic handles information when you use the app.
Puzzaic is designed as an offline-first, privacy-friendly app. The app does not require an account, does not use Simple Daily Apps cloud storage for your photos, and does not upload your photos to a Simple Daily Apps backend service.
Information We Collect
Puzzaic does not require you to create an account, enter your name, provide an email address, or submit personal details to Simple Daily Apps.
Puzzaic may use limited analytics and crash reporting data to understand basic app usage and improve reliability. This may include technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, feature usage events, crash logs, and diagnostic information. This information is used to improve the app and is not used to identify you personally.
Photos and User-Selected Files
Puzzaic allows you to select photos from your device in order to create and play photo puzzle reveals.
Photos you select are processed locally on your device. Puzzaic does not upload your photos to Simple Daily Apps, does not store them on a Simple Daily Apps server, and does not use them for advertising, profiling, or tracking.
When you create a Puzzaic challenge package, the app may create a local .puzzaic file that contains the selected image and puzzle metadata. This file is created so you can save or share the challenge yourself using the sharing options available on your device.
When you generate a printable puzzle PDF, the app creates the PDF locally on your device. You decide whether to save or share it.
Local Storage
Puzzaic may store app-related data locally on your device, such as puzzle information, imported challenge files, settings, Kids Mode settings, Parent PIN settings, saved pictures, photo albums, Adventure progress, recent puzzle history, badges, best results, and lifetime puzzle statistics.
This data remains on your device unless you choose to share, export, delete, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
Sharing
Puzzaic includes sharing features that allow you to share a .puzzaic challenge package, completed image, Adventure mosaic, captured photo, or printable puzzle PDF using apps and services installed on your device.
Sharing is initiated by you. When you choose to share a file, the selected receiving app or service handles that file according to its own privacy policy and terms.
Accounts and Cloud Services
Puzzaic does not require user accounts.
Puzzaic does not provide cloud sync, cloud backup, or online photo storage through Simple Daily Apps.
Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
Puzzaic does not show ads, does not sell your data, and does not use your photos for advertising, profiling, or tracking.
Puzzaic may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for basic analytics and crash reporting. These services help Simple Daily Apps understand general app usage, diagnose crashes, and improve stability. Photos, puzzle package contents, titles, messages, and printable PDF contents are not uploaded to Firebase by Puzzaic.
Purchases
Puzzaic Premium is handled by the platform store, such as Apple StoreKit, Google Play Billing, or Huawei AppGallery services where available. Puzzaic does not process payment card details directly.
Push Notifications
Puzzaic does not use push notifications.
Children’s Privacy
Puzzaic is not intended to collect personal information from children. The app does not require an account and does not ask users to provide personal details.
Puzzaic Kids provides a simplified puzzle area where children can play with selected saved pictures and Puzzaic starter images. Because users can choose their own photos from their device, parents or guardians should supervise how children use shared devices and what content they choose to create, save, or share.
Permissions
Puzzaic may request access needed to let you select images, take photos, open challenge files, save generated files, or share exported files, depending on your device, operating system, and settings.
These permissions are used only to provide the app’s photo puzzle, camera, import, export, save, and sharing features.
Data Deletion
Because Puzzaic does not create accounts or store your photos or puzzle files on Simple Daily Apps servers, there is no server-side account data to delete.
You can delete locally stored app data by using the app’s available controls, deleting saved or exported files from your device, clearing app data in device settings, or uninstalling the app.
Third-Party Services
Puzzaic may use standard system features such as the photo picker, camera, file picker, document creation, and sharing sheets.
Puzzaic may also use platform services for purchases and Firebase services for analytics and crash reporting. When you use another app or service to receive a shared file, that app or service is responsible for its own data handling practices.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
Simple Daily Apps may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
